Created by graphic and web designer Scott Evans, this first prize-winning video entry was in response to the D&AD Global Student Awards 2007 brief calling for a music video for musician and Friends of the Earth spokesman Thom Yorke. Following on the theme of environmental awareness, Evans’ aim is to draw attention to the consequences of the video brief itself as directly relating to issues of the environment, whilst actually contributing to the problems involved. Visual cues from the BP brand were used to highlight the ubiquity of brands, many of which are resposible for climate change.
